Breadboard - Electronics basics

What is breadboard ???

Breadboard is one in which an electronics engineer can prototype his/her own circuit design before implementing or manufacturing into the real world or real applications. It consists of several rows and columns which are internally connected together.

Usage of Breadboard..

Breadboards have tiny holes in which we can insert the electronic components used for our circuit. The left and right side two columns of the breadboard are used for the power supply. And the remaining five columns on both left and right side of the breadboard is used to connect the electronic components. The left side five columns and right side five columns next to the power supply columns are isolated from each other. On the backside of the breadboard there is a double sided tape for sticking a breadboard in a place for working with the circuit designs.
For example: Connecting a terminal in the left side columns is not linked with the right side column.
You can connect multiple breadboards together for a bigger circuit design. With the use of breadboard you can debug the circuit.
The breadboards are easily available in any electronic shops or you can buy it from here

If you have electronics components which doesnt have terminals to attach in the breadboard. You will need some jumper wires. Which is very useful for you to mount the electronic components into the breadboard.

You can buy jumper wires in the above link :

Most of the breadboards are available in white color, but multiple color also available in the online market. The rows in the breadboard are counted as A,B,C,D,E.................. and the columns are counted as 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,,8,9,0.
Five columns in the left side and five columns in the right side. Both of the side columns are insulated from one another.

That's all everything about breadboard from the best of my knowledge.
