LG Front load washing machine running in                                only one direction.



                                The LG front load washing machine is a fully automatic washing machine in which everything is controlled by electronics. The Electronic circuit board present below the control panel of the washing machine controls each and everything in that particular washing machine. The electronic circuit uses various sensors to analyse the data and it maintains the proper functions of the washing machine to wash our clothes perfectly without any error. To wash the clothes properly the drum/motor should run both in clockwise direction and in anti direction. But in this case the motor is running in only one direction that is the clockwise direction (i.e the motor in the washing machine running in clockwise direction and wait for some time and again runs in that clockwise direction....









So what is the problem 

                                Before diagnosing the problem we have to find how the electronic circuit controls the motor of that washing machine. The motor of the washing machine is driven by the MOSFET which is a electronic component present in the electronic circuit. The MOSFET which is further controlled by the control signal from the microcontroller. Now the problem is that the MOSFET or the controller IC(Integrated Circuit) might be the fault.






How to repair ??


                                        First check and confirm that which component is fault or damaged. If the MOSFET was damaged then it becomes so hot.. but if your MOSFET is in normal temperature then you can replace the MOSFET driver IC If the problem still continues then change or replace your motherboard microcontroller or replace the whole mother board or control board of the washing machine ..
