Non Inverter AC no cooling

Non Inverter AC indoor running fine and the outdoor unit fan working but no cooling or sweating in the copper pipe.

What will be the cause for the above problem ?

There are many reasons and scenarios for the above problem..

  • It is mainly due to the wires burn out to the compressor.

  • It is due to the Compressor electrical terminal PIN burn Out. In worst cases the terminal burn will put a hole in the compressor making it not usable.

  • The starting capacitor of the compressor is death. Check the capacitor for its value. If it is lower than the mentioned value in the capacitor then replace it with the new one.

  • And the last worst case is that compressor internal winding may blown up. Replacing the capacitor is the only option as there is no services available in the market for opening the capactior and rewinding and again rewelding the compressor.

  • Starting and Running wires of the compressors may be mismatched, This would cause the compressor to hum noise but it won't run. Check that.

  • One more case is that, the voltage is not sufficient for the compressor to start, kindly check the voltage of the unit with multimeter, if it is lower than the 150V then compressor won't start, but the fan keep funning at moderate speed.

  • Check the electrical system of the home/place for any loose wiring connections, it may also cause the compressor from starting.

  • A simple loose connection is enought to make the compressor not starting.

  • If you are in the site, kindly test the outdoor unit alone with separate wires from the mainboard. A terminal loose connection in the relay PIN of the indoor motherboard can also prevent the compressor from starting.
